These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the PassVibes Driving School website and the driving tuition services we provide. By booking a lesson or using this website, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. About Us
PassVibes Driving School operates in Greater Manchester, United Kingdom. References to "we", "us", or "our" refer to PassVibes Driving School. References to "you" or "your" refer to the student or the person making a booking enquiry.
2. Booking a Lesson
- Submitting a booking form on this website is an enquiry, not a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only when we contact you to confirm the lesson date, time, and instructor.
- You must hold a valid UK provisional driving licence before any lesson can take place. Your instructor is required by law to verify this before every lesson.
- You must be at least 17 years old at the time of your first lesson.
- If you need to wear corrective eyewear to meet the legal eyesight standard, you must wear it during all lessons.
3. Pricing and Payment
- All prices shown on this website are in pounds sterling (£) and are correct at the time of publication.
- We reserve the right to update pricing. Any price change will be communicated to you before your booking is confirmed.
- Payment terms will be agreed at the time of booking confirmation. We accept payment by card, bank transfer, or cash as agreed with your instructor.
- Packages (multi-hour bundles) must be used within 12 months of the date of purchase. Unused hours after this period will not be refunded.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
- You may cancel or reschedule a lesson free of charge with at least 48 hours' notice before the lesson start time.
- Cancellations or rescheduling made with less than 48 hours' notice may be charged at the full lesson rate at our instructor's discretion.
- We reserve the right to cancel a lesson due to instructor illness, adverse weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, you will not be charged and an alternative time will be offered.
- If you are more than 15 minutes late for a lesson without notice, we reserve the right to treat it as a cancellation and charge accordingly.
5. Conduct During Lessons
- You must follow all reasonable instructions given by your instructor during lessons.
- You must not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any medication that impairs your ability to drive safely. The instructor will end the lesson immediately if this is suspected, and the full lesson fee will be charged.
- Physical or verbal abuse towards our instructors will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of your lessons without refund.
- Our instructors drive vehicles equipped with dual controls and may take over control of the vehicle at any time for safety reasons.
6. Lesson Packages
- Lesson packages are sold as a block of hours at a discounted rate.
- Packages are non-transferable and cannot be shared between students.
- We do not guarantee a specific number of lessons to reach test standard. Instructor assessments are advisory only.
- Refunds on unused package hours may be issued at our discretion if you have a valid reason (e.g. permanent medical condition preventing you from driving). Refunds will be calculated at the standard single-lesson rate minus any discount received.
7. Test Preparation
We offer guidance on preparing for both the theory and practical driving tests, but we cannot guarantee that you will pass either test. The outcome of any DVSA test is solely determined by the DVSA examiner. We are not responsible for any costs incurred as a result of failing a test.
8. Limitation of Liability
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
- We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including loss of earnings or employment opportunities, arising from our services.
- Our total liability to you in connection with these terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific lesson(s) in question.
9. Website Use
- This website is provided for informational and booking purposes only.
- We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and up to date, but cannot guarantee it is free from errors at all times.
- We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to access, this website.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent changes. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
